the function ROOM

The club function room is super spacious and comfortably holds 100+ people. With its own private bar, large stage and bathrooms we can customise the layout to suit. Bring in a band or simply stream your playlist through the supplied blue tooth PA system. Celebrate with us! The exclusive hire has a generous beverage package built in! Bowlo prices so close to the CBD, simply doesn’t get better than that!  

bigger groups

Wanting to have a bigger then average gathering? No problemo! Group's 20+ hosted with ease! Picnic tables around the green with some barefoot bowling or simply enjoy the chilled vibe with live music and cold craft beers. Party with us!  

Kid’s parties

With one entire green dedicated to families and surrounded by picnic tables, kids parties are an absolute favourite with mums, dads and all the kids! (and we have a jumping castle!)

Kids parties details:

  • FRIDAY: 2.30pm-4.30pm 

  • SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: Two sessions

    12-2pm and 2.30pm-4.30pm 

    You may arrive 20 minutes before to set up and 20 minutes is allocated after for clean up

  • $110 for two picnic tables (up to 20 adults and 20 kids)

  • $150 for three picnic tables (subject to availability) (up to 30 adults and 30 kids)

  • BAR TAB: The above charges are converted to a minimum spend bar tab for use on the day (no refunds or credits on unused portions) 

    Each picnic table seats 8-10 adults each.  (We don’t book seating for kids as they tend to run around) 

  • MEMBERSHIP: You must be a club member to have a function at the club. Social Membership is just $10 for 2 years and is available on the Membership section of this website.

  • DECORATIONS: Please NO streamers, confetti, confetti balloons, glitter, streamer poppers, piñatas or lollies in wrappers.

  • NO BYO DRINKS: We are a fully licensed venue. (we sell poppers and soft drinks)  

  • NO BYO FOOD: We have food trucks in attendance and can purchase grazing boxes with your booking. We are NOT a self catering venue. You can bring a birthday cake and limited light snacks only. NO OTHER FOOD IS PERMITTED.

  • NO FACE PAINTING: Face painters are not permitted on site (as this marks the jumping castle)

  • NO THIRD PARTY ENTERTAINERS: No third-party entertainers are allowed on site without prior approval from the Event Manager. Please email bookings@bardonbowls.com with details

  • JUMPING CASTLE: Club jumping castle for all club kids aged 2-10 years, 12-5pm every Saturday and Sunday! (weather permitting) Entry is just $10 per child. Purchase your passes at the time of your booking and extras from the bar or the castle when you arrive. The castle is supervised by club staff as an added saftely measure, however all kids must be fully supervised by parents/guardians at all times. Safety rules displayed at the castle entrance and provided as a term and condition of entry at time of booking. Castle is safe for use in light rain and will be deflated in for storms and heavy winds. Weather is closely monitored. We do not offer private castle hire.

  • BEFORE YOU LEAVE: Please clear away all decorations prior to your departure. Extra cleaning charges may apply.

  • WHAT IF IT RAINS: The tables are covered with gazebos and offer good shelter in light rain. In the event of heavy rain/storms we can offer you a credit on the booking fee to another date. The club house is not suitable for kids parties unfortunately.  

  • WHEN YOU ARRIVE: Please see the staff to collect your membership card and activate your bar tab.
